Moving Help

• Where should I dispose of large items (i.e., furniture) during my move, or at any time?
  Please contact the Leasing Office regarding the disposal of large items.
• What should I do with used boxes that need disposing?
  Please break down boxes and place them in the dumpster.
• What do I need to do before I return keys to the Leasing Office?
  It is recommended that all residents give their apartment a final clean and wipe down. This ensures the apartment condition is similar to the condition it was when you originally received your keys.
• Do I need to have the utilities taken out of my name before I move out?
  Yes. You should have the Gas, Electricity and Cable services removed from your name. If you do not, the utility companies will continue to bill you.
• What happens if I forget to give notice but want to move out at the end of my lease?
  Per your lease, 60 days notice of your intent to vacate is required. Therefore, you would be held financially responsible for 60 days from the date you provide notice.
• What if I have some furniture or household items I would like to sell before I move?
  This website has a classified section for you to use. Also, websites like Craigslist specialize in classifieds.
